FAIT Program
The FAIT Program is a UBC / BC Children's Hospital research program developing and delivering real-world food allergy treatments for BC families. It is a 100% virtual, nurse-led program. Participants are invited to join the CAN-FAIT Registry. To be eligible, a child must be a current patient at the BC Children's Hospital allergy clinic.
CAN-FAIT Research Collaboration and Registry
Founded in 2017 (originally "CPP-OIT") to develop and implement peanut oral immunotherapy protocols in real patients outside of clinical trials. The registry began with a small group of preschoolers and now holds data on almost 2,500 patients and growing, covering peanut, tree nut, sesame and other food allergies. Members now represent most Canadian provinces, plus international collaborators in Hong Kong, Denmark and the United Arab Emirates.
IMPAACT Clinical Validation Study
Impairment Measure for Parental Food Allergy-Associated Anxiety and Coping Tool — validating a new screening questionnaire for food-allergy-associated anxiety at the BC Children's Hospital Allergy Clinic.

Deep phenotypINg Of infantS And toddlers Undergoing food oral immunotheRapy. Examines factors in a child before and after OIT — compared against a waitlist group — to understand which factors predict a successful course of treatment.
Clinical Trials
The BC Children's Hospital allergy clinic is a trial site for new food allergy treatments, including the DBV Technologies peanut patch trials (Pepites, PEOPLE, Realise, EPITOPE, VITESSE) and the ALK Abello ALLIANCE peanut sublingual tablet trial, plus the RAPT trial led by Dr. Raymond Mak.
